Special Note: Some collectors and museums prepare their fossils with shellac and other items for enhancement and restoration. We DO NOT shellac or enhance our fossils in any way. We prefer to sell them in the most natural state that they were found in minus the dirt! We DO clean our specimens with white vinegar and water before sending them to you. This DOES NOT harm the fossil in any way and it removes as much of the dirt, mineralization, and grime as possible giving you a clean and prepped specimen! Occasionally we WILL NOT prep the fossil in order to leave some of the mineralization and pyritization on the fossil for detail. You always have the option of completing preparation the way you choose. If we obtain a fossil that has been prepared with shellac or another substance, we will list as such.
